Subject: RCSD Schools Two-Hour Delayed Opening Schedule March 8/Any Changes to be Communicated Prior to 8 AM
Dear Rye City School District Families, Faculty, Staff and Administrators,
I hope you have fared well during today's winter storm. I continue to be concerned about our community members who are still without power. The heavy, wet snow brings with it the potential for additional power outages and poses significant challenges to clearing the roads in and around Rye.
For Thursday, March 8, all Rye City Schools will operate on a two-hour delayed opening schedule.
Should there be any changes to the opening schedule, I will communicate them prior to 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
