Board of Education Planning Meetings, Business Meeting and Annual Re-Organizational Meeting

The Rye City School District Board of Education will hold its annual planning meetings on Monday July 10, 2017 at Wainwright House on Stuyvesant Avenue in Rye and on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Milton Elementary School.

On Monday July 10, 2017 beginning at 7:30 A.M., immediately after the meeting is called to order, the Board will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss the employment history of current and prospective employees, negotiations pursuant to the Taylor Law, review of current litigation and litigation strategy. The Board will discuss its way of work, set goals for the coming school year, and discuss priorities for the 2017-2018 school year.

On Tuesday July 11, 2017 beginning at 7:00 P.M. the Board will conduct its usual Business Meeting and Annual Re-Organizational Meeting. On the agenda are fiscal, special education, personnel and business items that ordinarily come before the Board. There will be a presentation by Fielding Nair International, LLC to discuss steps toward a Comprehensive Innovation Master Plan for the Rye City School District.

At the conclusion of the Public Session, the Board will adjourn back into Executive Session. The Board will continue its discuss the employment history of current and prospective employees, negotiations pursuant to the Taylor Law, review of current litigation and litigation strategy and the Board will discuss its way of work, set goals for the coming school year, and discuss priorities for the 2017-2018 school year.
