Brent Pelton of Pelton Graham, the firm pressing the lawsuit for Rye Golf workers that was settled last week told MyRye.com "We were able to reach a preliminary resolution of the lawsuit. The City of Rye has agreed to pay the workers $1,000,000 in exchange for a wage & hour release and dismissal of the instant lawsuit. The workers believe it is a good resolution to this litigation."
The suit was originally looking for $4 million.
