No one likes to pay taxes but at least now you can eliminate the paper mess. The Rye City School district now has a facility for you to pay your taxes online:
The Rye City School District today announced the creation of an online school tax payment service available to all Rye City taxpayers on the District’s web site.
Taxpayers can access the service via the home page of the District’s web site, www.ryeschools.org, by clicking on the “Online Payments” tab at the far right of the screen and then scrolling down to “Tax Payments.” The taxpayer is then guided through a simple, secure, six‐step payment process. Taxpayers must have their Section/Block/Lot (S/B/L) number and Bill number from their tax bill available when using the service.
“Our goal is to make the tax payment process as fast and easy as possible for everyone,” said Gabriella O’Connor, the Assistant Superintendent for Business for the Rye City School District. Taxpayers can still continue to use other methods of payment, including mail‐in payment by check, in‐person payments, by using the online banking service of their personal bank, or via credit card through www.officialpayments.com (a service fee is associated with this service).
Taxpayers should call the Rye City School District Tax Collector’s Office at 914‐967‐6100 ext. 6276 with any questions about their tax bills or payment.
