Four Rye High School students have been nominated for the prestigious Metropolitan High School Theater Awards presented by the Helen Hayes Youth Theatre. This awards program was created as a way to recognize exceptional musical theater productions, talented actors and actresses and devoted creative teams from high schools across Rockland and Westchester Counties in New York and Bergen County in New Jersey.
Throughout the spring season, judges attended and evaluated shows presented by participating schools and nominated their selections for winners for various categories. The honorees will be acknowledged and celebrated at a ceremony held in June.
