Rye Town Beach “Pre-Season” – (Mostly) Free & Starts April 12th

Rye Town Park will begin its 2014 Pre-Season starting Saturday, April 12th, 2014. During the Pre-Season the beach will be open for sunbathing but not swimming.  Lifeguards will not be on duty. The main bathrooms will be open.  Weather permitting, the beach will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Beach admission will be free. 

On warm days a fee of $5 per car will be charged.  People having season permits from 2013 will be charged $3.00.  Seniors with permits will get free parking.  Groups wishing to schedule outings or events involving the pavilions and beach barbecues should continue making arrangements through the winter office at 10 Pearl Street in Port Chester.  Call 939-3075 ext. 100 for details.

The Park office will open for event scheduling and purchasing 2014 permits starting Wednesday, May 7th.  Starting on that date, people wishing to schedule events or get information can visit or call the seasonal office – 967-0965.  The official Rye Town Park “Beach Season” will begin Memorial Day Weekend – Friday, May 23rd.  For details about the daily and permit fees, contact the park office or the Park’s web site.
