The Rye United team will be ceremoniously sworn into office on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 11 a.m., on the steps of Rye City Hall facing the Village Green.
Councilwoman Laura Brett will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Rev. Mgsr. Donald Dwyer, pastor of Resurrection Church, will deliver an Invocation. Terry McCartney will be sworn in as Councilman by Judge Richard Runes. Julie Killian will be sworn in as Councilwoman by Judge Joe Latwin. Kirstin Bucci will be sworn in as Councilwoman by Judge Peter Lane. Joe Sack will be sworn in as Mayor of Rye by Judge Lane.
Local resident Alex Piscionere will lead attendees in a rendition of “God Bless America.” A reception will immediately follow the conclusion of the program inside City Hall. The entire community is welcome and invited to attend.
