Latimer Explains Tuesday’s Six State Constitutional Amendments

State Senator and Rye resident George Latimer has sent over a note and flyer explaining six state constitutional amendments that will be on the ballot Tuesday.

Here is his note along with the flyer:

"Friends,
In just a few days, voters will go the polls to elect officials in County, Town, City and Village posts, along with judicial seats. The campaigns will be reaching out to you with information before you vote….but precious little will be said about six State constitutional amendments – issues ranging from casino gambling to maximum age for judges – that will also be on the ballot.

Attached is a fact sheet on the six issues. I encourage you to use this as a starting point for your review…there are websites out there, pro and con, to persuade you.

Call my office anytime – 934-5250. I welcome your feedback."

Read the flyer.

Also (not from Latimer), the NY League of Conservation Voters explains:

Proposal #4 and Proposal #5.
