The Jay Hertitage first Carriage House Concert Salon on Sunday March 3rd, 2013 from 4:30pm- 6:30pm.
“The Salon” is a renowned performance series which has thrived as a sanctuary of artistic expression in Philadelphia for 26 years, a showcase of music spanning genres, regions and periods: seven outstanding performances in an intimate setting curated by award-winning composer Andrea Clearfield.
Hear Jeffrey Solow, cellist and Andrea Clearfield, pianist perform works by Rachmaninoff ;Tony Miceli, vibraphone and Aaron Irwin, saxophone play jazz classics; be mesmerized by Bulgarian concert pianist Tania Stavreva; Nathalie Joachim and Allison Loggins-Hull perform original works for flutes and electronics; more jazz with Stephanie Nilles, singer/songwriter/pianist; Brian Groder, trumpet and Tonino Miano, pianist; and a big finale with the Olivarez Trio whose original music has been influenced by Eastern European folklore.
