The signs have started coming—Shoes ‘N’ More is now selling boots, Staples have started their back to school ads, and school schedules have been mailed out. While this may excite some and scare others, school will soon be back in session. To make things a little easier, here are a few important dates coming up for Rye Middle and High schoolers.
(information in italics regards only Rye Middle School)
September 5th: First day of school
September 5th, 6:30-8 pm: Freshman and New Students BBQ
September 13th, 6:45 pm: 6th Grade Back to School Night
September 17-18th: School off for Rosh Hashanah
September 20th, 6:45 pm: 7th and 8th Grade Back to School Night
September 26th: School off for Yom Kippur
September 27th: Rye Middle School Picture Day
September 27th, 7-10 pm: High School Back to School Night
One last tip to parents and students: Make sure you’re up on all your summer work…it’s your first impression!
