    Dear eat
no reason to censor you..every reason to wash out your mouth with soap.
If you have a point make it...
We get enough of false innuendo and cheap slanderous shots from from your pal "Floatie".

    Eat ****,

It's hard to argue with Freedom of Speech but is it really necessary to attack someone in that language?

Do you have kids? Would your kids appreciate someone talking about their Mother like that? Would YOU appreciate someone talking about your wife like that or the Mother of your kids?

I can not imagine you saying yes to any of the questions above, you obviously hate woman in general!

You say you are not taking anything away from Keith?
You suggested she is immature and inexperienced, amongst other remarks.

Stick to the topic, if you have a personal problem with Suzanna Keith why don't you knock on her door? With any luck her children and husband will be home and you can explain your feelings to ALL of them!!

Why not put your real name on such a BOLD post?

    Dear Mr. Sears,

I urge you to follow Matt Fahey's advice and censor all opinions on this site that don't agree with the French
government's communist manifesto. We need to silence people who question phenomenon that make no sense. We need to
restrict the spirit of free speech. We need to restrict the spirit of the internet. We need to keep information and opinions confined to only what the French Government
approves. We should never question the intelligence of the electorate. America is a democracy where even Sarah Palin can
be vice president. Well, only if the darned press didn't ask all those "gothcha" questions. Please censor this site and
prove me right. Show that the French government owns the press in Rye. Prove that myrye.com is biased and approves of suppressing
free speech. Prove that Mrs. Neary was correct in calling the Doug French supporters goons. Prove that Rye doesn't spend enough money on education.
Prove that the LWV is wasting their time. Please prove to me that while you see nothing wrong with posting pictures of private property on this site without permission of the landowner you're gonna teach the little kiddies of Rye what proper behavior is. Please censor me.

    Thank you.

I agree Matt..That is why I took after "Eat mr. floatie"
Where is scooter..how I miss him

I think if you are going to continue to allow these posts to be read by as little as 1 reader then I would agree with Matt Fahey!

That would come to a SCREACHING HALT!!!
    Only cowards stay ANNONYMOUS!!!
The cowardly ones will never return once ALL the threads turn into intelligent conversations, it is not possible for a COWARD to carry on an INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION!!!

Matt, Not so many months ago, I was attacked on here about Jarrid's accident, I mean really, a person could never stoop so low, and this still goes on!!!!

They stay ANNONYMOUS and protected to boot,,,
    AIN'T THAT A BITCH!!!

Recently another blogger posted some really obscene volger language & suggestions directed at a certain individual.

Soon, if not already, MyRye will need a it's own THEATER RATING!!

    To the Editor –

I think that MyRye is a wonderful concept, but its credibility is being destroyed by faceless individuals. This latest post by “Eat Floatie” is a perfect example of what happens when you allow gutless anonymous people free access to an audience.
Unlike “Eat Floatie”, I have known Susanna Keith for over a decade. I was not at all surprised to see her earn the most votes for city council. She has proven to be a huge asset to this city. The electorate spoke clearly and loudly that they prefer her passion and dedication over all the other candidates. She will do an exceptional job for this city. “Eat Floatie” might want to ask former and current Council members Carolyn Cunningham, Roz Larr, Paula Gamache and Katherine Parker if they think she’s under-qualified – but I doubt he has half the courage of any of them.
Perhaps “Eat Floatie” hasn’t received enough of an education himself to realize that women have had the right to vote for some 90 years now, and they often vote for the candidate who they believe will best represent their interests.
Jay, if you were to require that all posters use their real names and register with the site, I think you would be very pleasantly surprised with the results. Both the quality of the dialogue and the number of posters would improve, and many residents of Rye would use the site for a free exchange of worthy ideas. But it’s devolving into a hate-filled arena that caters to the lowest common denominator. Do you want your children to be reading this kind of trash?
I implore you to take action against this kind of filth.

    Eat mr floatie
What a bitter sexist jerk you are!
My god you are worst than TedC, and Ray Tartaglione put together.

    diyman,

Blog polls are never accurate. I didn't matter what they said. What should bother you more are the following:

    1. Even Jim Amico acknowledged the obvious, that myrye.com was totally biased in it's coverage of this election.
So was The Rye Record. That should bother Rye residents. What media outlet is going to keep these newly elected
officials honest? Peter Jovanovich's wife is the editor of Rye Record and Jay Sears seemed to have it in for Otis.
It's almost as if the gov't owns the press in Rye. Does Russia ring a bell?

    2. Susanna Keith was the top vote getter! Did I miss something? Did Keith floor everyone in Rye with her experience
and back round or did all the men vote with their little head? I mean, come on, I'm not taking away anything from Keith but
It's gotta make you wonder about the maturity level of the voters who turned out. Did Team French pay off a bunch of horny
18 year olds to go and vote? Reminds me of high school elections.

    3. Doug French wants to put a flood plan up for a Rye vote. Now, I refer you to point 2. Is Doug French going to attach a
pin-up calendar "The women of the Rye City Council" when he sends out the plan for all to approve?

    4. Maybe we're not spending enough money on education when the number one vote getter is Keith. We hear much talk about
traffic safety but after seeing the results of this past election, I have to wonder what our children are being taught in school.
Why even waste the League of Women voters time?

    5. Stick a fork in this city, we're done.

hey MyRye ...... can you comment on how it was possible your 2 polls you ran before the election showed Otis and gang creaming French and gang ?

inquiring minds smell a fish thats as rotten as a striped bass locked in a car trunk in August for 3 weeks .....

A little credibility check please .....
