MyRye.com is off until Monday, but here are the show times for the fireworks shows at Playland this weekend.
If you want to avoid the mayhem, park at a friend's house off Forest Avenue and walk down the Playland boardwalk without going into the park. You'll avoid the crowds and as a bonus you can look across the Long Island Sound and see about 20 different fireworks shows taking place on Long Island.
Fireworks times:
Special Fireworks Holiday shows are this Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th at 9:30pm off the pier. Regular fireworks shows are every Wednesday and Friday through September 4th at 9:15pm by the seaside walk.
Seriously? My God is one who cares about the Earth He created. I daresay he would be ashamed that you think He would be offended by the FloatieMobile being parked in front of a House of God. I think He would be proud. Really people; examine your belief system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be fooled by one man's delusional quest for a taxpayer-funded home improvement project. He claims the Sound is polluted and getting worse, but Mother Nature herself has indicated an improving eco-system, as witnessed by the recent arrival of hundreds of dolphins.
Furthermore, as a qualified doctor, I think you're in the early stages of dementia. Anyone who professes to love a giant turd has some serious scatalogical issues. But please don't be too alarmed - there are many programs offered by the county and state that can do wonders in improving your situation. And if those fail, I have another option you may want to consider.

I am disappointed you would think I am not a "real" person but instead an impostor or something. Shame on you. Not everyone in this town is against Mr Floatie.

Can't you see he has a valid point? It's a mess and it needs to be cleaned up. He is 100% correct and many of us applaud his efforts.
