After you are finished checking out the value of your neighbor’s house with Zillow, head on over the the Federal Election Commission Database to see if they are right or left leaning. You can search by name or hey, search the entire city.
Try search on our friend Mario Gabelli who has gotten into some trouble recently, and you will see he is a prolific giver ($42,100) to both sides. Or track down the $7,600 in contributions spread around by Rye resident, ex-Primedia head and current CEO of Tivo Tom (use "Thomas" when you search) Rogers.
